CodeChef Campus Chapter |
Getting Started
We're happy to know that you are interested in setting up a CodeChef Campus Chapter on your campus. Below are some suggestions for setting up and running a chapter:
1.
Find Some Friends and Classmates
You can start a CodeChef Chapter on your campus with just two
members. However, having more members provides greater opportunities for
discussion, feedback and fun!
2.
Pick a Representative
A student representative could be any student who is
interested in leading and managing the activities of the chapter. This will
involve organizing meetings, publicizing upcoming competitions and recent
winners, distributing prizes and solutions.
Based on
the level of activity we'll send the representative a certificate of
appreciation based on his/her achievements.
3.
Nominate a Faculty Advisor :
Nominate a faculty
advisor for your chapter. The faculty advisor will serve as a mentor to the
chapter by providing his/her guidance whenever required, help you manage
logistics with the university, and provide insight and ideas.
4.
Name Your Chapter
Give your
chapter a unique name. Please note that the chapter name must be CodeChef
Chapter - [Chapter Name]. (i.e. IIIT Hyderbad Hyderbananas).
5.
